Company Overview
United Engineers for Petroleum Projects (UNEPP) is an independently registered company, established in Egypt in 2008. We deliver comprehensive technical services across all phases of oil and gas development — from concept to commissioning.
Unified Engineering Consultancy Limited (UNIFIED), our UAE-registered sister company, was independently established in 2023 to extend our regional presence across the MENA region.
Although UNEPP and UNIFIED are independently registered entities, they share the same group of shareholders and operate in close coordination. Together, they provide integrated engineering, procurement, and project management services across the full project lifecycle — including feasibility studies, concept selection, basic and detailed design, procurement support, construction supervision, commissioning, and operational support.
UNEPP has been officially registered with the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) since February 2009 under Registration No. 1258, and with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) since December 2010 under Registration No. 68.
Both UNEPP and UNIFIED are certified to ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), demonstrating our commitment to delivering services that meet the highest international standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Leadership Team

Ahmed Sanad
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Responsible for setting the strategic direction, overseeing corporate governance, and ensuring overall business performance.
Sameh Kassem
Vice President of Projects (VPP)
Responsible for all aspects of engineering and project management. This includes strategic planning, technical leadership, and cross-functional coordination across both onshore and offshore teams to ensure resource optimization and project success.
Ahmed Elnaggari
Vice President of Operations (VPO)
Leads key corporate functions including business development, project services, procurement, quality management, HSE, IT, and legal affairs. This role ensures operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective execution across the company’s portfolio of projects.
Company Milestones
Since its establishment in 2008, UNEPP has achieved a series of strategic milestones that reflect the company’s steady growth, expanding capabilities, and long-term commitment to technical excellence in the oil and gas sector.
- 2008 – Company Inception: UNEPP established in Egypt to deliver value-driven multidisciplinary solutions across oil & gas projects.
- 2008 – First Feasibility & Basic Engineering: Techno-economic study for a 32” transmission pipeline (El Sadat – Dahshour) for TAQA.
- 2009 – First Detailed Engineering Services: Firefighting network detailed engineering for RAS BAKR Oil Facilities (GPC).
- 2009 – First Operating Procedures Manual: Start-up and operating procedures manual for WDDM Phase V (BURULLUS).
- 2012 – First Pipeline Construction Project: Installation of a 16-inch, 40 km high-pressure underground gas pipeline for NAT Gas.
- 2012 – First HAZOP Study: HAZOP study for South ANNAJMA EPF (ECG) for STAROIL.
- 2015 – First Process Skids Fabrication: Fabrication of two knockout drum skids for WASCO’s El Basant Compression Station.
- 2021 – First Offshore Platform Detailed Engineering: Full detailed engineering for Petrogulf’s offshore platform.
